The Big Blue boys basketball team traveled to La Salle on Tuesday night for a non-league game against one of the top teams in the state.
Hamilton held a three point lead after the first quarter before trailing by seven points at the half, 30-23. Hamilton outscored the Lancers in the third quarter before battling it out in the final period, but falling just short, 54-48.
Kristian Walton and Trey Robinson each scored 18 points for Hamilton, a career high for Walton. You can view the complete box score by clicking HERE.
Hamilton is now 8-5 on the season. They will bounce back for two home games this weekend as they host Sycamore on Friday night and Mount Healthy on Saturday night.
