Hamilton’s boys basketball team played at Lakota East on Friday night in a grueling defensive battle of two of the GMC’s top teams.
Big Blue led early and took a 19-14 lead in to halftime. The third period was played on the defensive end with both teams combining to only score 10 points in the quarter. The Thunderhawks battled back in the fourth period, proving to be too much as they scored the winning basket with seconds remaining to defeat Hamilton 34 – 32.

Hamilton is now 7-3 overall and 4-3 in league play. They will host Lakota West on Tuesday night at 4:30, 5:45, and 7:15 pm.
