The Big Blue boys bowling team defeated Badin 2390 at 2282 at Game of Fairfield, closing out the first half of the bowling season. The boys struggled in regular games falling behind Badin 1658 – 1591. As the boys entered baker games trailing by 67 pins, they rallied together and began the comeback. With Michael Middleton leading off and throwing a strike, he sparked a fire in the team. Following Michael, was David Baker, Tommy Brosius, Haiden Renner, & Ryan Rouse. Together they took back 23 pins beating Badin 178 – 155. The same lineup continued the momentum into the 2nd game with Kellan Hampton & Alex Deaton filling subbing in during key moment to reduce the deficit to 4 pins after winning the 2nd game 214 – 175. Baker Game 3 & 4 saw the same lineup taking the lead with game of 238 & 169 to Badin’s 170 & 124 to rally past Badin 2390 – 2282. The boys go into the break with a 3-4 record and look to come out strong at the Back to School Bash on January 5th.
