Hamilton traveled to Oak Hills on Friday night for a GMC contest.
The Highlanders struck with an early touchdown and tacked on a field goal in the second quarter to take a 10-0 lead into half time. The third quarter proved to be a defensive battle with neither team reaching the end zone. In the fourth quarter, Big Blue battled back to tie the game at 13-13. However, the Highlanders capitalized on some late errors to top Hamilton 20-13.
Hamilton was paced offensively by Quincy Simms-Marshall who was 13 for 22 and threw for 133 yards while wide receiver Daryan Bowling secured 5 receptions for 102 yards on the night.
Dillon Lee set the tone defensively with 10 solo tackles and 1 interception while Leondre Pope also picked off a pass.
The football team is now 0-4 overall and 0-2 in the GMC.
