Girls Golf Starts Season Strong

Hamilton’s Girls Golf team has started the 2018 campaign strong by carding strong, improved scores. Below is a list of match result summaries from the start of the season.

August 6th – Tri-Match vs. Colerain & Oak Hills at Indian Ridge Golf Course

Hamilton won with a 216, Colerain 219, Oak Hills 223
Medalist: Hannah Baker with a 42 on the front nine.  Ashley Schappacher was close behind with a 44.
Sycamore Invitational: 18 hole tournament – Walden Ponds, August 7th
Hannah Baker – 98, Ashley Schappacher – 97

Hamilton finished ahead of Fairfield, Oak Hills, & Colerain

August 13th – Match vs. Princeton at Indian Ridge Golf Course
Hamilton won with a score of 199 while Princeton scored 220.
Hannah Baker was medalist with a score of 43, Ashley Schappacher 50, Isabella Mays improved her score by 15 strokes from last week to shoot a 51,
while Lexi Spurlock improved her score by 19 strokes to shoot a 55.
August 14th – Match vs. Mercy McCauley at Indian Ridge
Mercy McCauley had extremely consistent scores of 42, 43, 44, & 44.  Medalist was Erin from McCauley.
Team leader for the match was Hannah Baker with a 48 followed by Ashley Schappacher with a 49 and Isabella Mays with a 50.
We’ve added two new varsity players: Ashlynn Falk and Kylie Roark who participated in their first varsity girls golf match.
