The Big Blue Boys Basketball team earned two key victories over the weekend.
On Friday night, they battled GMC foe, Lakota East, in an exciting nail biting game in front of a home crowd. Big Blue saw solid play from several teammates as D’Marco Howard dropped 20 points including a huge three point basket late in the game, while Jaylen Robinson and Cameron Benson each chipped in 10 points. Hamilton then carried this momentum into Saturday evening as they traveled to non-league opponent, Harrison. Big Blue controlled this game from the tip taking a 26-19 lead into the break before running off 43 points in the second half to down the Wildcats 69-47. Hamilton is now 11-7 on the year and 6-6 in conference play. They will be back on the court this Tuesday as they travel to Sycamore for games at 4:30, 6:00, and 7:30.
