In a rare Wednesday night conference battle thanks to Mother Nature, Hamilton hosted the Middletown Middies last night in a game that was moved from Friday night. The first half proved to be an even contest with the Middies leading 22-21 at the break. The third quarter proved to be more of the same as both teams fought to exchange points before Big Blue took over the final stanza outscoring the Middies 17-8 to earn the 49-44 conference title.
Hamilton saw key points from Jaylen Robinson (21) and D’Marco Howard (14) while Kurtis Reid chipped in 7 points and pulled down 7 rebounds.
The win pushes Hamilton to four consecutive victories and an 8-4 record on the season. They will be on the road this Friday at Oak Hills High School at 4:30, 6:00, and 7:30 PM.
