Hamilton’s Boys Basketball team traveled to Fairfield on Friday for conference play.
The game was full of ups and downs as the Indians took control early and Hamilton battled to stay in the game. Fairfield took a 37-29 lead into the half and extended that by outscoring Hamilton 17-8 in the third quarter. However, Big Blue would not be held down. They came storming back in the fourth quarter outscoring the home team 28-13 in the final period. Big Blue saw two looks at the basket in the final seconds but could not convert and eventually fell 67-65. Hamilton saw double digits from three players: Jaylen Robinson (21 points), D’Marco Howard (16 points 7 rebounds) and Kurtis Reid (10 points and 9 rebounds).

The loss puts Big Blue at 3-2 on the season and 1-2 in the GMC. They will play at Lakota East on Friday night.
