The Big Blue battled a familiar foe on Friday night when they traveled up route 4 to take on the Middletown Middies in the annual Butler Bowl. Hamilton battled in the first quarter as the Middies nudged out to a 14-7 lead but the second stanza was all Big Blue as they scored 13 points to go into the break up 20-14. Hamilton came out just as hot in the third quarter tacking on another 15 points to lead 35-14. The fourth quarter saw both teams getting on the board but Big Blue was able to fend off the Middies to earn a conference win by the final score of 47-26. Hamilton is now 2-4 on the season and 2-2 in the league. They will play at home this Friday night against the Sycamore Aviators to celebrate homecoming!
