Hamilton completed their last road game of the season yesterday as they traveled to Colerain to take on the Cardinals. Hamilton jumped out early controlling the game with an 8 point lead after the first quarter before adding on to that in the second quarter. Hamilton went into the break ahead of the Cardinals 33 – 21. Colerain owned the third stanza outscoring the Big Blue 19-11 as turnovers hurt our squad. However, Hamilton remained on the straight and narrow in the fourth quarter fending off the Cardinals to secure a tough 60 – 56 victory.
Big Blue was paced offensively by Daniel Brunck with 20 points, D’Marco Howard with 13 points, and Jaylen Robinson with 11 points while Hunter Hamilton went for 7 points and 13 rebounds.
