Big Blue overcame an early deficit before defeating the Firebirds 2401 – 2319. After the individual games the boys of the Big Blue trailed the Firebirds by 44 pins. Hamilton out bowled Lakota West 681-555 in the baker games to secure the come from behind victory. Senior Jonathan Perkins continued his fantastic season with games of 212 & 240 for a 452 series and currently has the 2nd highest average amongst bowlers in the GMC. Senior Kane Proctor added a 350 series while junior Andrew Sharp added a series of 341. Senior Dylin Hubbard added a 2nd game of 173, while senior Mason Johnson rolled a 132 to help the Big Blue improve their record to 7-3 overall and 2-2 in the GMC.
Also in action yesterday at Fairfield Lanes was the Big Blue Girls Bowling Team. They moved past Lakota West with a score of 2012 to 1915. Leading the way was Amber Brock with a 371 total score after bowling a nice game of 205 as well as Kaylee Arvin with a 366 total score after bowling a nice game of 207. With the win, Hamilton advances to 6-4 overall and 3-2 in the GMC.
