Hamilton’s Swim Team was in action twice last week as they hosted a tri-meet with Edgewood & Talawanda on Friday and then traveled to the Milford Invitational on Saturday.
Hamilton hosted their second tri-meet of the season with Talawanda and Edgewood. Freshman Owen Bullard went for two best times in the 50 Freestyle and 100 Freestyle. The boys 200 FR relay dropped 3 seconds off of their best time to beat out Edgewood. Senior Ali Lander also swam a best time in her 200 Freestyle with a time of 2:39.22.
The Big Blue swim team competed in the Milford Invitational on Saturday where they competed against 12 other teams from the Cincinnati area. Sophomore Olivia Bender placed 9th overall in the 500 Freestyle and got a personal best time of 6:11.49. Senior Chole Cummins earned a best time in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 2:36.51 and sophomore Alex Hoelle recorded his personal best in the 100 Freestyle, 1:01.17. Finally, sophomore Keegan Warren was back on his game, and notched a best time in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 30.17.
Hamilton will compete again at Miami University on January 14th and 15th for the annual Southwest Ohio Classic Invitational.
