Hamilton hosted second ranked Mason on Friday night in front of a large crowd at the Big Blue Athletic Center. After one quarter, Hamilton and Mason were tied at 13 apiece before Mason made a late run in the second quarter to put the Comets up 31-21 at the half. Big Blue came out hot again in the third quarter outscoring the comets during the period to put the score at 46-42 in favor of Mason. Hamilton continued to fight in the fourth quarter keeping the game close, but they could not regain the lead, eventually falling 66-59.
Hamilton was lead by two players in double figures with D’Marco Howard scoring 19 and Jaylen Robinson scoring 10. Hunter Hamilton was also a major contributor on the night chipping in 8 points and pulling down 13 rebounds.

Big Blue is now 3-6 overall and 2-3 in the GMC. They will travel to Princeton on Tuesday night for games at 4:30 – 6:00 – 7:30 pm.
