Boys Basketball Falls Twice Over Break

Hamilton’s Boys Basketball Team hosted the Mount Healthy Owls in non-league play on Friday night. Big Blue was down early but battled back scoring 21 points in the fourth quarter; however these points did not prove to be enough as the Owls came away with a 55-50 win. Hamilton was paced by D’Marco Howard with 11 points and Myles Howard and Cameron Benson each with 8 points. The loss drops the team to 1-4 overall.

In addition, Hamilton traveled to another non-league foe on Tuesday night as they took on the Beavercreek Battling Beavers. Big Blue held a 20-19 lead at half time, but the Beavers went on to outscore Hamilton 34-24 in the second half to earn a come from behind 53-44 victory. ¬†Jaylen Robinson contributed 16 points for Hamilton while D’Marco Howard also chipped in 14 points. Hamilton now stands at 1-5 overall as they look to rebound at home on Friday, December 30th vs. Lebanon. Game times are 4:30 – 6:00 – 7:30.
