It was a late Friday night followed by an early Saturday morning repeat for the Big Blue football team. Weather delays at Milford caused the game to be suspended with only minutes remaining until half time. The game was rescheduled for Saturday morning at 11:00 AM.
Hamilton came back charged and ready to go! They outlasted the Milford Eagles and earned the hard fought victory on a Trace Sword field goal with :05 remaining on the clock.
Vince Sanford was named the Skyline Chili Showdown MVP with 11 catches for 182 yards, numerous plays on defense, and the hold on the field goal. Vince also broke 3 school records in this game to become the Career Receiving Yard Leader (1,333 yards), the leader in receptions in a game (11), and the leader in receiving yardage in a game (182 yards).
