On Thursday, Hamilton High School announced the hire (pending school board approval on Tuesday) of its next Girls Basketball Coach: Harry Phillips.
Phillips met with the media Thursday morning and the players Thursday afternoon.
Coach Phillips brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion to this program. He is a graduate of Garfield High School where he was a standout student-athlete.
He has spent the last 20 + years devoted to serving the students of this district, having coached football, basketball, and track & field at a variety of levels. He has coached varsity basketball as an Assistant Coach (Girls) at Hamilton High, an Assistant Coach (Boys) at Winton Woods, and a Head Coach (Girls) at Monroe High School.
Coach Phillips is employed within the Hamilton City School District as a Safe & Secure Monitor at Hamilton High.
