Big Blue Takes Down Moeller; Snags Sectional Title

The Hamilton High School Baseball Team took on Moeller last night in the Sectional Championship at Lakota East HS. The game proved to be controlled by pitching, with Hamilton’s Korren Thompson in command. Thompson went on to deal the Crusaders a one hit shutout in front of a great crowd.

Hamilton was fortunate enough to plate a run in the fourth inning after Landon Stephens led off with a double before advancing to third on a sacrifice bunt. He scored on a fielder’s choice by Tyler Hannah.

The win runs Hamilton’s record to 18 – 9 overall – running off 10 wins in their last 12 games.

Big Blue advances for a District Final rematch with the LaSalle Lancers on Saturday, May 21st at 3:00 PM at Western Hills High School. Fans should anticipate a large crowd and try to arrive early. Admission to the contest will be $6.00.
